July 2023

Dear Friends and Neighbors,

We wanted to reach out to you to wish you and your family a very merry summer! We also want to introduce ourselves, as our church has been in the area for 15 years now. The core of our mission and fellowship is for families of all sizes and all ages. We are blessed to share the building with Seven Day Adventists, who gather on Saturdays. Our group meets on Sunday mornings.

Church leaders are here to pray for you and provide basic counseling based on Biblical principles. We invite you to email your prayer requests if you would like us to partner with you in praying about a situation, a family member, a friend or any other concern. Email us at info@chcop.net or call us at (708) 312-0097 and leave a message.

If we can answer your questions about Jesus, being a Christian or the Bible, we’d welcome the opportunity. If you need help with tasks and home maintenance, we will be happy to consider how we can assist.

While we can never guarantee that we will meet all of your needs, we will always use our best to extend the love of Jesus Christ to anyone who is earnestly seeking God.

Lastly, we invite you to join us for our Sunday morning service which starts at 10:30 AM and ends around noontime. Our service is traditional with the Word of God front and center. We have a short testimony time and congregational prayer. We do not have a “worship leader” or “band.” Our music is traditional: psalms, hymns and spiritual songs. We’d love to have you join us!

Greg Rosenquist is our main teaching elder. He uses the NASB version of the Bible during his messages. If you would like to get a sample of his style of preaching, most of our sermons can be found on our church YouTube page. If you go to our website, CHCOP.net and click on “sermons” you will find an archive of messages.

Yours faithfully,

David E. Smith
Senior Elder
